Masqueradeとは仮面舞踏会のこと。人は皆その時々の状況や相手にあわせた仮面をかぶっています。それが良いとか悪いということではなく、それを象徴的に表わすことができるのがキャバクラという場だと思い、キャバクラ嬢をモチーフに制作しました。

A masquerade is a masked ball. Everyone wears different masks depending on who they are with and the situation they are in. Iʼm not saying thatʼs good or bad, but that I think it can be symbolized by kyabakura (hostess clubs), so I used a hostess motif for this work.
